The spouse of the founder of My Legacy did not bring money because he lived with another randomly generated city dweller. I`m not sure there`s any way to find out in advance (maybe I should have cancelled the interacting move once I saw that!), but it was definitely a harder start! Almost 12 days of simulation and I finally have some walls and windows on my house. There is no money in the cash register and I fear for the next payment of the bill! Note: By this I mean “harvesting perfect gardening stuff” at the beginning of the challenge. I furnish Newcrest and one of the houses I built before has gardening stuff that has already been improved and is ready to be picked. Thank you for your help. I really like the challenge, I make a few mistakes along the way, but hey, not all of us. I want to say a big thank you for creating this challenge and for the hard work you put into it. ๐ I`d say yes, or I`d just ask a family member to spit out a bunch of Sims at random. The main reason for the rule is that you can`t make perfect spouses by hand, but if you meet by chance, you should be good. […] which it isn`t, but I promise I`ll stick to ALL legacy rules and regulations (which can be found here), except rule #9, as it interferes with storytelling, but other Sims outside of the […] My question is about the new tutorial. Since I`m going to do a new simulation to start my legacy, I was wondering if I could do the simulation through the tutorial? My gut tells me “no,” and here`s why: At the end of the tutorial, you`ll get a trait called “Overperform,” which is supposed to give you “increased performance and skills faster.” If the feature works, it looks like it can give the founder an edge over players who haven`t started their sim in the tutorial.
On the other hand, it might not have a big impact and I believe you allow economic ownership. Anyway, I didn`t tackle the tutorial, so I thought I`d ask before I started. Thank you! I think it`s called “old active household” or something like that, so just the household you`re playing gets older. You can choose it where you change the age range settings. I use it all the time because I don`t like it when my other Sims get older when I`m not playing. I think this is an unnecessary restriction. I understand the intent, but the end result really depends on how the player plays it. I chose Dina Caliente as my founder`s wife โ not because of her qualities, but because she looked cute ๐ (in fact, I didn`t even know she was a city dweller). I also intend to build relationships between city dwellers and my family โ at least in this first legacy.
Yes, they are not random, but they are quite random for me because I did not look up and memorize all their characteristics. Isn`t the randomness provided by the random number generator sufficient anyway? You can see if a Sim lives with roommates or if they are city dwellers or not by viewing them in the Manage Worlds menu. As long as you don`t change anything while you`re there, it`s probably not breaking the rules. In the early 2000s, in The Sims 2 Days, Pinstar created the Legacy Challenge and started selling Legacy Challenge T-shirts to make some money from what they created. I have like a big city thing where I have all my Sims, should I store them in my library in CAS and then hit like this little drive that says when you hover over it, “Create a new space”? I`ve already tried this and it starts a whole new city only when you downloaded the game for the first time. I created my own starting rules for founders/1st generation as I love apartments and wanted to include them in my inheritance. I thought I`d post them here because I thought if you think they`re good enough, you might want to include them. (It also means that you have the chance to fulfill the purpose of the natives of the city, which you could not do until now in the inheritance). There are many variations of the legacy challenge. The examples are: I`m not sure I understand. Did you create the challenge on a save where another family was played? If so, then I`d say you can just save the game under a new name (with Save As) and then play that save whenever you want to play your inherited family.
That way, you don`t have to move them anywhere. The reason for this limitation is to make it more difficult to launch the challenge. Suddenly having 20,000+ simoleons available due to marriage would make things a lot easier. You can ignore this rule, but you can`t track the points. With less control over how your children develop and more challenges put in your way, the challenge poses the very important question. What legacy will you leave behind? I played with it, but in the end, I preferred the armor solution because I always considered inherited families as the nobility of the Sims world and that armor would be their title. That and armor inflate your bills, making the challenge a little more difficult, which I think is a good thing. However, there are some points that require Sims to get married. If I wanted to reach 100 points, what options do I have for Sims who don`t get married? Or would I simply sacrifice the potential to get them? Not directly, but I know your space simulation has a chance to catch fire after the crash. Now, this could be considered a vanilla death by fire, but I decided to give it its own category. You just need to burn in the fire after the accident. If you never see Sims go up in flames, then there might be a problem with that and I`ll take care of reducing that type of death.
You should add another category to this challenge. Call these the rules of morality. Just like in real life, people usually fall into 1 of 3 categories: liberal, conservative or moderate. It has nothing to do with politics, but these 3 represent the entire moral compass of your inheritance family. Is there a solution with the family tree? I have limbs that disappear completely. Fortunately, they are the parents of the founder`s spouse and no one in the real challenge. I discovered this during normal play and I don`t want my family tree to disappear. I want to see everything in all its glory. Please help us!!! I`m losing my mind Can I use Sims who are in the world and already have homes but only take Sims and no money or should I hope to find a Sim who has no place before my inheritance dies. Ah! You know what, I wanted to write something in the rules and I forgot about it. Yes, you can move to one of the larger properties with an already established inherited family.
But only once and you can`t go back to the old property. I should update this now. Thanks for the reminder! As Pinstar said in the past, you have to have a normal lifespan and vampires live forever, so I don`t think you can be a vampire. Having said that, if it is not in the rules, I think it is acceptable to do the other things that you have requested. My main question is: what is the purpose of the legacy challenge? Do you just start a family with a child, then that child finds a spouse and goes on and on? It doesn`t seem to do enough, which is probably why I never complete legacy challenges.
