Use a law firm other than DLG. **DO NOT USE DLG** I had to accept the pathetic offer on the other side to settle my claim; simply because of the coercion imposed by the DLG as the most incompetent law firm in the world. They pulled me through 15 months of stress: they couldn`t even get my name and correct in correspondence, which took weeks, months to respond to the simplest emails. On some occasions, I need to send an email 5 times to try to get the simplest answers. It was very clear to me that I was just a number on a piece of paper; one job to finish and move on to the next. I have made 2 major complaints in the last 15 months, none of which have been acknowledged. This violates their procedures as listed in the Terms and Conditions. It is an absolutely appalling undertaking. The worst. **DO NOT USE** The following information is a summary of the waiver(s) granted. They made many mistakes, including sending my complete medical history to an unknown party, not receiving a medical report for injuries in a timely manner, not giving up when they were wrong, receiving a second psychological report because the first had expired, but the second mentioned PTSD when it should have been, and much more.
The attitude of the staff was shameful because I felt they didn`t care. Treating them had a negative impact on my mental health, which the psychologist identified in the two reports he wrote. They failed to get the right medical reports on time (although this was extended twice because they were not prepared for court). This allowed me to receive the minimum payment. The lawyer said that the documents DLG had would drop me in court and that my best option would be to settle amicably. There`s no point in complaining because all you get is a standard letter. The offer I received after two years was rejected and the DLG dragged out the case for another two years, but the small offer remained the same. It put extra pressure and stress on me, which made me depressed. There was no benefit to me from delaying the case further and further – the only benefit was for DLG, as its fees would have been doubled during that period.
