Finger Lakes Legal Care

Training medical staff and local organizations Reporting to the supervising lawyer, the ONA Legal Assistant will help implement the objectives of the ONA grant and work to advance Journey`s refugee services mission. CNA`s Legal Assistant will provide public relations, referrals and assistance with direct immigration legal services, and assist CNA legal counsel in organizing legal clinics, legal counselling days and community information events in Finger Lakes Counties. The Finger Lakes region includes the counties of Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Yates and Wayne. This station will operate primarily from Rochester, NY. Centralized goal of improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations by addressing legal needs. As a result, they are often forced to turn to service providers who may not have the necessary expertise in immigration law. To address this issue, the New York State Office for New Americans (ONA) will expand the availability of immigration attorneys throughout the state, offering free and expert technical legal advice, legal advice, direct representation, and legal seminars and workshops. FLLC uses the Medico-Legal Partnership (MLP) model. Throughout his practice, Angelo has litigated numerous criminal and civil lawsuits, including major assault lawsuits (2nd highest judgment in Ontario County history, a recent $1 million judgment in Monroe County Supreme Court), as well as appeal, corporate, probate, divorce and adoption.

In the field of criminal defense, Angelo has successfully defended the most pronounced charges (murder and assault), medium-range crimes and misdemeanors (Grand Larceny, Petit Larceny, etc.), as well as countless DWI and DWAI charges throughout New York State. Angelo was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994 and has been in private practice for over 25 years, spending his early years with his father Michael in Rochester. Angelo is also a professional musician who has released five full albums: “Shadows” (2007), “Behind This Nonchalance” (2009), “Meet Mr. Starliter” (2012), Over $1.7 million recovered for RRH since October 2012 from the effective date declared for each patient for a period of 3 years.
