The worst company ever. The delayed completion by Sterling Ackroyd Legal cost me money. You make a mistake, I have to pay for it. Dealing with Ackroyd Legal was one of the worst experiences of my life. The transfer process took 7 months before the sale failed due to negligence on the part of Ackroyd Legal. Ackroyd Legal did not show up for lawyer meetings on several occasions and was completely unreachable. After 6 months of transfer with only a few requests, the file should have been prioritized. It is clear that the company has no concept of time management and lacks any form of professionalism. I would 100% recommend that no one uses Ackroyd Legal for a legal process! If you want a company for the transfer of Ackroyd Legal, this one is for you. From my own personal experience, they provided me with amazing and efficient service and I couldn`t thank them enough. My lawyer was hired and kept me informed throughout the process. I would 100% recommend that I am 52 years old and have never seen such a terrible service in the world of property transfer.
I read some apparently good reviews here, so I thought I could trust Ackroyd Legal. However, I was terribly wrong. The service was incredibly slow and unproductive. Since I was never able to reach anyone, I was ignored almost all the time. It made me feel like I wasn`t a client and I`m still not sure if they actually bought my property properly as the property management told me two months after the purchase that they hadn`t filled in the information correctly, so I wasn`t in the system. In any case, take the risk for this company if you want to be frustrated and have cheap and nasty service, RegardsJohn No training. Horrific wage bullying is a common and acceptable practice. Refer to a January Labour Court case – discrimination and intimidation. No infrastructure to support expansion. It functioned as a cheap restaurant. You award training contracts, but before you accept, you do your research. They present themselves as “the city`s law firm”! They are not! It is a property transfer plant.
They will have no education and they will build a terrible reputation. They advertise on their website that they have high-end customers and partnerships. This is not the case! You have contracts with small businesses and have legal fees of £300 plus VAT, so expect very low pay and long hours. Finally a law firm that wastes no time !! My agent legally recommended Stirling Ackroyd to me – these guys are real estate specialists. Excellent service and fixed fee!! All the colleagues, including the receptionist I spoke to, were very helpful. They all spoke clearly and straight to the point. I highly recommend Stirling Ackroyd to anyone; and I will certainly contact them again in the future if necessary. More. I sold my London flat earlier this month and as a lawyer for it, Eaman Alhemyari did a fantastic job.
He was diligent, cooperative and attentive to my needs. During his internship, he met all legal requirements and I highly recommend him. Great place to work! In any case, you will gain practical experience in the legal field, especially in residential transfer! It`s also a growing business, so it`s pretty fast. Professional, knowledgeable, responsive and clear. Mohammed was a great support during our sale. I would recommend Stirling Ackroyd to my friends and family for all legal services. Thank you terrible experience. During our first shopping experience, we were exposed to more unanswered emails and calls than we could count. All other parts of the buying chain have been frustrated by the lack of responses from our lawyers, slow progress, and unprofessional emails. Stirling Ackroyd as a whole was extremely useless and uncommunicative, with ignored emails and phone appointments happening regularly.
I understand that the whole property buying industry is archaic and needs an overhaul, but the worst part of it all has been dealing with Stirling Ackroyd. No customer service, mostly no email responses, always too busy to talk, never made us feel comfortable about any aspect of the purchase and never took the time to explain what was going on. We had to follow all the correspondence from the sellers` lawyers and ask the real estate agents if we could be involved in the email chains so that we could clarify any issues that we could clarify ourselves. There`s a pandemic, so it`s understandable that there are delays in everything right now, but the way we`ve been treated is still inexcusable. Even an explanation email saying things were slow right now would have been appreciated, instead, we got defensive responses in the rare cases we received responses, and the entire interaction made buying our first home 100 times more stressful than it should have been. They have no respect for their customers and obviously don`t rely on referrals, as all subsequent negative reviews reflect my own experience. I can only assume that the majority of good reviews are wrong. Verification can help real people write reviews about real businesses. I bought my property through Ackroyd and found my lawyer helpful.
I would not hesitate to use their legal services. We use dedicated people and smart technology to protect our platform. Find out how we fight fake reviews. I used Stirling Ackroyd Legal to buy a property in late 2016 and they still remind me today why I would ™never use it again and suggest that others wouldn`t want to use ™it too. Some of the problems encountered when purchasing; 1) The emails did not contain ™attachments mentioned in the body. (2) The report submitted did not have a coherent meaning and concerned clauses that were not included in the report. 3) The report sent overestimates the number of years remaining in the lease. I only took this because I had explicitly researched the remaining years in advance 4) You did ™not return the federal charter to the free owner. I found out 6 months later when I contacted the freeholder and there was nothing they could ™do until the certificate was returned. (Mysteriously, my very simple name had been misspelled. To be fair, Stirling Ackroyd told me that it was the Council`s mistake. Perhaps that was the case.
Or maybe it wasn`t) 5) They didn`t respond to emails from the seller`s lawyers for 3 months and then contacted me to tell me that I had ™taken urgent action. In that email, they told me that the buyer`s lawyers were holding custody in a safe place and needed confirmation that it was acceptable to ™release her. I asked for this, and after a few attempts at explanation, they simply forwarded me the email from the seller`s lawyer ™™. This was just one of many inaccurate and sloppy errors. I now assume ™I`m the rightful owner of the property, but since I can`t report anything they did well or was right the first time, I wouldn`t ™be surprised if I wasn`t ™™.
