Excellent website! I found the information about these cats very interesting. Now it remains only to find a breeder. Thank you! Damn, that`s pretty ears! Apparently, these little guys are as independent as cats, but as affectionate as dogs. So they work for dogs and cats. If you let one of these guys into your home, be sure to keep them away from small rodents if you don`t want them to become a snack. I currently own a fennec fox (which I know is definitely not a cat, I`m aware of that) and she is really cute and kind. My aunt is an exotic cat breeder and she has had leopard cats and ocelots. They are wonderful if – and I want to emphasize if – you are RESPONSIBLE, respect the animal and are educated. Always do your research before owning any of these animals. Can you own a baby panther as a pet in British Columbia, Canada? With a permit? Which state in Canada allows Baby Panther to be a pet? Alberta tightened its position on exotic animals in 2000. It is illegal to possess exotic animals without a permit. Enre MiriD, perfect, well written.
As in all discussions, there are exceptions, in my opinion it would be a humanitarian act to raise orphaned or injured animals to give them a chance to live, not big cats or animals to avoid in the wild. But without exception, most people who have a combination of a large ego and a small cerebellum and raise dangerous animals end up suffering the consequences. Even when I handed over the regular fee to the “zookeeper,” she told me where I should park. The owners of Serval acquire their cats from breeders who raise them by hand. They are several generations away from living in the wild in Africa, and most of them are gentle. Servals were kept as pets in ancient Egypt and some people have kept them since. They do not come from nature. This is an informal way of describing cats, but they are certainly not fat. Well, some of these things are good information, none of these feral cats can be kept legally in most states without a license. I`ve had Ray`s wildcat for 15 years and just bred hybrids. All these cats are considered the same as big cats when it comes to the proper approval process, I mean, you have to admit that these guys are damn cute.
These farm animals grow to about 3 feet tall and are apparently completely legal to own as pets. MiriD I have repeatedly addressed these arguments time and time again. Please stop assuming that I am an idiot who has not heard these arguments and is completely naïve. Don`t you think I realize that people mistakenly believe that cats and exotic animals are different? I have at least 5 articles dealing with this. They didn`t write anything convincing or something that someone with proper intelligence wouldn`t think of. You`re wasting your time parroting the same I`ve refuted for years, and that doesn`t make my exotics any less like a pet I own. We wouldn`t have pets if wolves and little feral cats hadn`t chosen to join human settlements because it made life easier for them and ours. All “pets” are descended from “wild” creatures. I am 67 years old, I love most animals (snakes, spiders and most insects funny me). I`ve had cats and two dogs for most of my adult life (one child and I currently have a 16-year-old Jack Russell, which I inherited from my mother when she died in 2004). I had a cat, Annie, whom I found as a kitten and she was 22 years old. She was the most amazing cat: extremely friendly, not aggressive, played day and kind and searched and the most amazing Fetch played with a small rubber ball.
Annie had an oddity, she loved melon to the point where she sat in front of the fridge until she had some. I moved from Florida to Oklahoma to care for my aging mom, and Annie and my other cat, Cello, moved with me. My mom didn`t like cats much at home, but Annie quickly won them to the point where mom always had melon on her shopping list. My mother`s dog was trying to get the cats` food, so my mother provided two seats at the kitchen table for the cats, with plastic placemats, saucers with their names and two short bar stools while they are. When Annie went blind at the age of 20 after talking and hitting her head, Mom put her water bowl and litter box in her room and fed her on the bed, warning everyone not to move the furniture because the cat was used to where things were.
